Lykke Li

Melody sent me this music video this morning. I think she's in love with me. Am I reading too much into it?

Beautiful cinematography for a super pretty song.

SHEER BRILLIANCE

People tell me all the time that I look like Tina Fey. Yes!

PPT PYT

It's Saturday night, hey! I stayed in to work on a powerpoint for work. A day ago I would have said that it's major bummersville except that the 2008 version of ppt for Mac that is now installed on my computer is awesome to the max and I mean it. Wizard! Last night I stayed in to work on my book. No, not my "novel." Melody, I noticed that your myspace profile includes me under your list of favorite writers, and I want to know -- does this mean that I must actually write my great American masterpiece or does blogging puns count? Also, you're pretty. The not-so-super-secret book that I'm almost done with will be available to all of your greedy eyes soon! Maybe. If I self-publish. Should I shop it around? I'd look great on the sleeve of a jacket. Your jacket. Or your pants, pants pending.

It's FALL now, and despite the weather still being generally hot and humid, I've decided to go ahead and resume my favorite chilly weather hobby which means it's off to the yarn barn! With only the finest fibers pulled from the most attractive alpaca, I can start crocheting scarves and blankets for myself and friends while sitting on my couch drinking Beaujolais with my cats. Twenty five years old. What? It's cool. Idle hands are totally the devil's sin socks. Oh me.

I love you.

Freakend

The verdict is in... seeing a movie by yourself is exactly the same as seeing a movie with other people, without the obligation of talking to anyone before and after. And there's no one to watch your stuff if you have to pee. Definitely something I'd do again!

As far as Hamlet 2 goes, I did find it quite hilarious, however, I really missed Coogan's British accent. Eh well... rape in the face is funny once again!

If you live in the greater Philadelphia area and are looking for something fun to do this Saturday, there's a really cool event going on in Kensington called FluxTask. Maybe I'll see ya there, friendos!

Happy freakend!
